Recent work
One of my plans for 2010 was to focus more on local wildlife again, since I had neglected it a bit too much in the past few years, while concentrating mainly on landscape photography.
Since April, I have been very lucky being tolerated by two of my favourite birds, the dipper and especially the kingfisher.
My small hide on the river bank obviously doesn't disturb them at all. As if he had to prove his total confidence, the kingfisher has even fallen asleep in front of the hide twice.
The dippers were already busy feeding their youngsters by mid-april while the kingfishers were still copulating.
