Grey Heron

Ardea cinerea

While waiting for the kingfisher in my small hide, I saw this grey heron landing approx. 12m away. After 20 minutes, it had slowly made its way just in front of my lens, at the minimal close focusing distance. The head with the enormous beak was all I could frame.
